Edwards Housing Inc Nonprofit has a vision to provide hope to those who live on the streets of Tarrant and Dallas Counties. We desire to see the quality of their lives enhanced in every way: emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually.
Edwards Housing Incorporated mission is to build a community where those who have much can serve and give to those who have little because we believe that real transformation happens through relationship in community.

The mission of Encore Stage & Studio is to build life-long appreciation for live theater by involving young people in all aspects of theater arts — onstage, backstage, in the classroom, and in the audience.

The Mission of the ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia, Inc. (ECNV) is to empower people with disabilities to live independently.

Our goals are to enable individuals with disabilities to:
improve the quality of their lives;
determine their own lifestyles;
participate in all aspects of society;
secure their human and civil rights;
exercise self advocacy; and
ensure a system for consumer control and policy direction

The Northern Virginia Professional Chapter of EWB-USA is a group of professionals dedicated to helping communities around the world achieve a better quality of life through sustainable infrastructure projects and community empowerment. EWB-NOVA was founded in 2014 and includes professionals from the Northern Virginia-Washington DC Metro area.

ECDC's mission is to resettle refugees, promote cultural, educational, and socioeconomic development in the refugee and immigrant community in the United States, and conduct humanitarian and development programs in the Horn of Africa. To pursue this mission, ECDC: provides programs and services that assist newcomers to the country become productive members of their new American communities fosters greater understanding among newcomers and the wider community.

Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions (FACS) organizes people to become champions of action in their communities, encouraging moral climate policies and affecting change. FACS catalyzes climate change mitigation, adaptation and resiliency strategies at the local level through the collective impact of faith communities and people who share our vision of caring for creation. We pursue climate action through advocacy, capacity-building, knowledge-sharing and leadership opportunities.

The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) is the only independent, nonprofit 501c3 organization devoted solely to providing emergency financial assistance and scholarships to our dedicated civilian federal and postal public servants and their families. FEEA also has a for-profit subsidiary, FEEA Childcare Services, which administers childcare subsidy programs on behalf of a number of federal agencies.

Field To Table, Inc. provides healthy fresh foods to residents of Arlington County and surrounding areas in Northern Virginia. The nonprofit pursues its social welfare mission of building community infrastructure by establishing and managing locally based farmers markets. We provide guidance to local residents on the virtues of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables as opposed to highly processed foods, thus improving family health as well as enhancing community identity.

We aim to inspire young minds through exploration, education, and growing opportunities for all youth.

Our mission is to distribute free food to our neighbors in need, in partnership with our Northern Virginia community, and to provide opportunities for people to volunteer their resources. Local merchants, the USDA, food drives, and crop harvests provide the food; volunteers and staff provide the hands; and charitable contributions and fundraising events provide the funds. In FY 2016, Food for Others distributed over 2.2 million pounds of free food with a donation value of $3,340,000.

FLOC tutors low-income students in grades 2nd-12th in the Washington, D.C. area to achieve grade-level competency in reading and math through one-on-one attention and a structured, step-by-step curriculum. We also provide mentoring and coaching to students in grades 8th-12th through PSAT/SAT Prep, College Readiness, and Project Based Learning programs to ensure they are prepared to transition out of high school into higher education.
