Community of Hope’s mission is to improve health and end family homelessness to make Washington, DC more equitable.

We are a coalition of nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educators, community leaders, elected officials and individuals on a mission to improve the lives of those living in poverty. We support and promote equity and inclusion for all members of our community.

Guided by the belief that creativity is a fundamental need of the human spirit, Creative Cauldron is dedicated to providing affordable, enriching, and diverse experiences in the performing and visual arts to Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, DC and Maryland community. Creative Cauldron gives people of all ages, incomes and backgrounds opportunities to connect and grow through the arts with a broad array of art and artists, transformative programs in a collaborative atmosphere.

The organization's principle mission is to promote and enhance the Crystal City business, retail, restaurant, and residential community. The BID is funded by a special tax paid by the over 40 property owners within the established boundaries who comprise the organization's membership.

Arlington Retirement Housing Corporation's mission is to provide quality independent and assisted living housing with services for low and very low income seniors age 62 years and older so that they can age in place in our caring community.

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care.

We started our work because we saw a problem: two-thirds of students in DC read below their grade level. This is unacceptable and we refuse to idly stand by. There are more than 6 million adults in the DC Metro area, and if we all commit just an hour or two a week, every student will have the academic support they need. Our plan is simple: provide a tutor or mentor for every student reading below grade level or in need of additional academic or non-academic support in DC.

District Mugs is a volunteer-run nonprofit that introduces entrepreneurship and business concepts to the homeless in Washington, D.C., by teaching them how to design, market, and sell coffee mugs. 80% of the profits from this venture are passed on to our homeless participants to provide them with a small.

The African Community Center of the DC Metro is a branch of The Ethiopian Community Development Council, Inc. (ECDC) - 1 of 10 Resettlement Agencies authorized by the Department of State to resettle refugees. ECDC is a non-profit community-based organization which resettles refugees from countries all over the world. ACC-DC Metro is responsible for directly helping DMV area refugees in the transition to rebuild their lives through social, educational, and employment programs.
