Arlington Rotary Club Year Founded: 1929 Our goals are to serve the Arlington Community through service and to support the education of students in need. We host fundraisers to support local charities and to fund scholarships for Arlington students from elementary school to college. We volunteer at charities and assist them in fundraising efforts. Arlington Rotary meets every Thursday from noon to 1:30pm at the Residence Inn in Courthouse for fellowship, lunch, and programs from local organizations and community leaders. |

Arlington Safe Havens Year Founded: 2017 Arlington Safe Havens provides a safe place for supervised visitation and exchanges for court orders families who have been affected by domestic violence, child sexual abuse, stalking, dating violence and sexual assault. It is designed to safely assist families and provides an opportunity to have parent-child contact monitored by an appropriate third party with the intent to decrease the risk of further violence. |

Arlington South Lions Club Year Founded: 1946 Our primary mission is blindness prevention. We support vision screenings, eye banks and eyeglass recycling. We provide eye care services to those at risk of losing their sight. Arlington South Lions Club is working in the Arlington Free Clinic, providing eye care, and the Eyeglass Recycling Center providing free eyeglasses to those unable to afford them. Looking forward, we will be screening pre-school children for Amblyopia, and helping them to get the care they need. |
