Casa Chirilagua is a community of people “learning together to love their neighbors as themselves” in a Latino neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia.

We are the charitable arm of the Catholic Church, Diocese of Arlington, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the official teachings of the Roman Catholic faith by responding to the material needs of men, women, children and families who live within the diocese’s 21 counties and 7 cities. We serve all regardless of their faith. We feed the hungry, house the homeless, welcome the newcomer, visit the prisoner, and other charitable works of mercy, because our faith compels us.

Celebrate Fairfax, Inc. (CFI), a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, was created by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in 1984, as the result of a citizen blue ribbon study. Today, CFI's mission is 'The Celebration of Fairfax County and Its Communities.' CFI's 'flagship' event, Celebrate Fairfax!, began as the Fairfax Fair. The Fair dates back to colonial times when the House of Burgesses mandated that an annual Fair be held to promote commerce, economic development and a sense of community. The Fair existed as a for-profit corporation from the late 1700's to the mid-1940's, when it went bankrupt after three years of rain. In 1982, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors decided to create and host a countywide event: the 'Fairfax Festival.' The success of that event led to the creation of the nonprofit Celebrate Fairfax, Inc. which produces the festival today. The Board of Supervisors remains involved through its appointment of 5 members to 17-member CFI Board of Directors.

Members of the Cherrydale Fire Corps are essential to the success of Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department. We’re much more than just a fire department. We’re a family, with an entire organization working to support our firefighter/EMTs, and to preserve the Cherrydale firehouse’s historic place in the Arlington community.

We aim to find and develop the STEM potential in every student.Strive towards a future in which every student dares to pursue the education in STEM they dream of, and where everything is possible.

HE CLARENDON ALLIANCE IS A 501(C)6 MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ENSURING THE HEALTH AND VITALITY OF THE CLARENDON CORRIDOR. OUR SPECIAL EVENTS ACTIVITIES, AND PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO HIGHLIGHT THE UNIQUE ATTRIBUTES OF THE CLARENDON AND COURTHOUSE COMMUNITIES AND BENEFIT BOTH RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES, AND VISITORS. WE ARE HERE TO ENSURE THAT CLARENDON REMAINS THE HEART OF ARLINGTON AND IS THE VERY BEST PLACE TO WORK, LIVE AND PLAY!

The Farm’s Mission is to educate the public about American daily life and agriculture through participation and involvement in an 18th century Virginia tenant farm and related programs.
