Partner Opportunities

As a Volunteer Arlington Partner, you are able to post your volunteer opportunities for FREE! Additionally, there are numerous opportunities and benefits which can support your mission and volunteer engagement.

Arlington Cares: A Celebration of Volunteerism

Volunteer Arlington honors and recognizes individuals and groups who are making a difference in the Arlington community through volunteering at its annual Arlington Cares event. The event celebrates annual award winners and people who have spent 100 hours or more volunteering for an individual organization in the previous year.

We encourage our partner nonprofits to submit nominations for the awards and to join us at the nonprofit fair.

Ignite Civic Engagement Projects

The Leadership Center of Arlington program for young professionals offers opportunities for participants to engage in leadership development as well as civic engagement. As a Volunteer Arlington partner, we invite your organization to consider facilitating a civic engagement project for our Ignite Young Professional Program.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Volunteer Arlington is looking forward to our day of service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 20, 2025. We will gather our partners and volunteers together in person and virtually to celebrate the civil rights leader’s life and legacy with “a day on, not a day off.”

We encourage our partner nonprofits and county departments to host a service project, listen-and-learn, DIY project, or other activity to engage willing volunteers from our community.
