Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect our communities from gun violence. Moms Demand Action campaigns for new and stronger solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes that jeopardize the safety of our families.

The mission of the Museum of Science Fiction is to create a center of gravity where art and science are powered by imagination. Science fiction is the story of humanity: who we were, who we are, and who we dream to be. The Museum will present this story through displays, interactivity, and programs in ways that excite, educate, entertain, and create a new generation of dreamers.

NAMI Northern Virginia, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness affiliate for over 45 years, provides free advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all people affected by mental illness can build better lives. Our programs help you to better understand mental health conditions by connecting with others who have lived these experiences. All our programs are free, confidential, and peer-led. The mission of the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Alliance (NVFPA) is to assure availability of, access to, and utilization of a coordinated and comprehensive system of community-based programs and practices aimed at reducing risk for falls and fall-related injuries in older adults thus maximizing independence and improving quality of life.
