Share of McLean provides emergency assistance to our neighbors in need in Northern Virginia. Our clients are referred to us by County social workers or other social service agencies and are elderly, disabled, marginally employed, or unemployed. Our programs include financial assistance and distribution of food, clothing, and recycled furniture. Nearly 100 per cent of donations go to the direct benefit of our clients because we are an all-volunteer organization.

Shepherd’s Center of Mclean-Arlington-Falls Church (SCMAFC) was founded in 2006 to address the needs of seniors aging in place, focused primarily on providing free rides to necessary destinations and simple home maintenance. We assist our seniors by providing free rides to medical and therapy appointments, pharmacies and grocery stores. As an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to serving seniors in need in Northern Virginia.
