Hunger
Organization: Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC)
Volunteer Opportunity:
Host a Food Drive - This is something a family can do on their own by printing up flyers (our website has samples) and then delivering them to their neighbors (maybe with an empty paper or plastic bag). After a certain number of days, neighbors can leave items on their door steps for pick-up.
Organization: Bridges to Independence
Volunteer Opportunity:
Host a Food Drive - Support the Bridges families by keeping their pantry stocked! We will provide you with a list of food items the shelter is looking for. We welcome you to do this however you feel comfortable: This can be having the items delivered straight to the shelter, picking them up from the grocery store yourself and dropping them off, or hosting your own food drive!
Organization: New Hope Housing
Volunteer Opportunity:
Make Bag Lunches.
